U.S. Marine Peter Palma saw the need for a rifle cleaning kit that stood up to hard use instead of the crushable kits issued by the military. The MS Clean kit is made of tough polymer that can be run over by a pickup truck. It’s also smartly designed and shaped like a 30-round AR-15 magazine. That means it will fit in the many carriers that your gear is already made to hold, keeping it close at hand whenever needed. However, it cannot be mistakenly inserted into an actual firearm. The kit slides open to access your own cleaning supplies or it can be purchased complete with sectioned rod, brush, chamber brush, rubber coated pick, firearm toothbrush, and Froglube®. Available in various colors and in a larger, double-wide size at www.mscleankits.com
LaserLyte® announced a one-of-a-kind training kit for owners of modern sporting rifles that includes the LaserLyte® .223 laser cartridge trainer, a 32-inch push rod, an over-sized charging handle, and a charging block that prevents live rounds from being chambered. The LaserLyte® LT-223 laser cartridge trainer fits inside the cartridge chamber and features a firing pin activation switch that indicates the bullet’s impact with a bright red laser dot. The built-in snap cap protects the firing pin and O-rings hold the laser in place accurately and allow for repeated practice without compromising accuracy. The rimless cartridge trainer will not accidentally eject even with constant racking.
The charging block is a small round plug that goes in the buffer tube spring that allows only 1.75 inches of travel. It is within this short distance that the user can cock the rifle for another laser shot. Motion is kept to a minimum with no over-travel. The charging block also acts as a safety feature since no live round can be chambered from a magazine while it is in place since the bolt is not open enough. When training is complete, eject the LT-223 cartridge laser trainer with the included 32-inch push rod. The rod comes in four 8-inch segments, easily combined to the proper length. MSRP of the LaserLyte® Training Tyme Kit (LT-C556) is $124.95.

A fellow police officer has come up with the Glock Mag Tool to quickly disassemble the base of Glock magazines without causing any damage to them. This ingenious chunk of aluminum is a must-have for the serious Glock armorer. Simply place the unloaded magazine inside the machined opening and it will line itself up and press the retention pin. Press down once and the baseplate will begin to move. Then reposition the magazine to the machined step-down and press again. The baseplate will move to the perfect position where it retains the inner spring and you can cup it in both hands to capture the spring and remove it. The GMT causes no damage to your magazine like a screwdriver and pliers may.
The GMT-S fits Glock models 17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35 with standard base plates. The GMT-L fits models 20, 20SF, 21, 29, 37, 38, 39, and 41 with standard base plates. Either GMT is available at www.precisiontr.com for $24.95 each.
Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. introduced the popular Ruger® LCP and LC9 pistols factory-equipped with Viridian® Reactor green laser sight (R5) or Reactor tactical light (RTL).
Fans of green lasers understand the advantage of a beam that is up to 50 times brighter than conventional red lasers for around-the-clock, all-conditions targeting indoors or out. Now these shooters can get this exceptional technology as a Ruger factory package available exclusively through TALO distributors.
If a taclight-equipped pistol is preferred, the LCP or LC9 fitted with the Reactor RTL is the choice to make. It illuminates over twice the horizontal area of standard taclights, thanks to exclusive wide-beam Radiance™ lighting technology that puts the beam where it’s needed most.
Every LCP and LC9 fitted with a Reactor green laser or taclight comes with a pocket holster and is equipped with exclusive ECR™ Instant-On technology. ECR™ Instant-On shuts the laser/light off while holstered. The laser/light instantly ignites the moment the weapon is drawn. ECR eliminates fumbling with buttons, unfamiliar grips, and the delay and confusion that can arise in lethal encounters. With ECR, when you draw, it’s on.

The KeyMod system presents a new level of customization, as it allows the direct attachment of compatible accessories without the use of intermediate M1913 Picatinny rails. For accessories that are not yet KeyMod compatible, users can purchase a separate CMMG 5-slot Picatinny adapter rail that can be easily attached to any of the KeyMod slots for optimal placement of the accessories. The Mk3 CBR rifle is constructed with a hard-anodized, billet 6061-T6 aluminum receiver. A 416 stainless barrel was selected and features a nitride finish that provides the barrel with long-lasting accuracy and corrosion resistance. CMMG’s medium taper (MT) barrel is the perfect balance between weight and rigidity. The rifle also includes a CMMG SV muzzle brake, designed to reduce recoil and increase muzzle control for quick and manageable follow-up shots. By partnering with other industry leaders, the Mk3 CBR has some of the best components available to complete the rifle. Some of these parts include a Geissele Automatics SSA® 2-stage trigger, a Magpul ACS-L™ collapsible butt stock and Magpul MOE® pistol grip. The rifle also comes with a Magpul 20 LR PMAG® with a 20-round capacity. The combination of all of these features creates one of the most capable and affordable .308 WIN rifles available.
